- No sand is illegal and the effects can lead to silicosis of the lungs.
- What do you use for blast cleaning?
- We use various media for different applications; glass beads for aluminium and stainless steel, calcium carbonate for ornate and delicate oak timbers, crushed mineral (silica free) for beams, brickwork, stone and render and copper slag (silica free) for steelwork.
- Can you blast a house if it is lived in?
- Yes, with careful protection and preparation we can carry out works with minimal disruption.
- Do you clean up on completion?
- Yes to a vacuum standard if required.
- Do you offer a guarantee for woodworm and DPC work?
- Yes a 30 year insurance backed guarantee.
- When can we re-enter the building after woodworm treatments have been carried out?
- One day is sufficient if water based treatment is used, three days is recommended if a spirit based treatment is used.
- Is the spray foam insulation fire rated?
- Yes it has a class 1 fire rating
